Momoko Sato and Mayumi Kusunose presented a poster at the European Human Genetics Conference

Postdoctoral Researcher Momoko Sato and Senior Technical Scientist Mayumi Kusunose presented a poster at the European Human Genetics Conference, held on 13-16 June in Gothenburg, Sweden. The title of the poster is "Hype and hope in genomic research: An analysis of benefits presented by genomic initiatives focusing on data diversity".

To examine how genomic initiatives seeking to build diverse datasets present the benefits of their research, we analyzed information available on their websites. Because both dataset diversity and the benefits of genomic research are issues of global relevance, the project generated productive and engaging discussions.
