Researcher Hideki Yui received the Startup Award from the Japan Association for Bioethics

Researcher Yui received the Startup Award at the 36th Japan Association for Bioethics Annual Conference, for his article “The Search for Subjects for Forced Sterilization under Article 4 of the Eugenic Protection Law—A Study of the Projects of the Public Health Center in Hokkaido in the 1950s”.

The Startup Award is presented to a researcher under the age of 40 who is the first author of an article published in the Journal of Japan Association for Bioethics. This year, a　single award was granted.
